ROGUES OF CHAOS

The Rogues of Chaos is a high-powered super band led by lead guitarist(Julian) Jerry Flack. Jerry and crew are on tour with electrifying music to ignite and inspire power pop, female rock vocal and hard rock guitar fans!

Founding member of the West Coast founding rockers of United States west coast 70s punk, the Cardiac Kidz, Jerry is answering the cries of a new generation ready to change the world. Other Rogues include Caylyn Gamboa on lead vocals, Cristina Smith on keyboards, Marty Erickson on harmonica and percussion.

The great Matt Starr, (formerly of Ace Frehley, Mr. Big and Kix) and The Knack, is the drummer on the recordings and producer of Rogues of Chaos. Songs are recorded at iconic Singing Serpent Studio in San Diego by Ben Moore and Christian.

The Rogues of Chaos Story

Who knew that when Jerry Flack and Cristina Smith reconnected in 2021, that moment would begin a new journey into the rock scene once again! Jerry was working on a Cardiac Kidz reunion show with co-kidz-founder, Jim Ryan.  It was after that reconnection, when Jerry invited Cristina to join the newly forming Rogues of Chaos. From there, Jerry invited vocalist Caylyn Gamboa to join. Her rock style blends seamlessly with Jerry’s fast paced, high-energy music, originals.  Jerry and Caylyn had worked together in the short-lived band, Me and the Boyz. Caylyn’s distinct voice and emotional range bought the co-writers back together. 

Next Jerry invited longtime friend Marty Erickson to join in on harmonica and percussion. Caylyn asked Breezy Bree (Sygnal to Noise, Tantric) to join on bass.  Ruben de Fuentes on guitar, and Kaylee Olivia soon joined on rhythm guitar.

Jerry and Cristina brought onboard drummer Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr. Big, The Knack) to drum on Rogue of Chaos recordings and serve as producer.
